Above freezing. In Minnesota’s colder climate, Great Grandpa Donnelly said, “No stucco between Thanksgiving and Easter!” After browning and finishing coats set, stucco must not be exposed to freezing temperatures for 24 hours. Crumbling stucco indicates it likely froze during the setting period. On this, we always err on the side of caution. My kids often ask if I’m a weatherman or a stucco contractor because I'm always analyzing the weather.
“Excellent job, beyond expectations; 11 men happy to do our house; no mess (everything covered); well orchestrated; they moved efficiently through each step. Larry patiently helped us on color selection. While Think Stucco presented the highest of five bids we are confident that no other stucco company could have done as high a quality job for less money. The care to our property (plants, sidewalk, grass, deck, deck furniture, sidewalk and worker pathway) were all covered. Appealing crisp lines and color breaks of the new stucco - the easiest home improvement investment we have made.”
